PYC Junior Sailing Grant & Scholarship Program
At PYC Junior Sailing, we are committed to supporting the growth of sailing in Maine. Through our Grant and Scholarship Program, we aim to ensure that passionate young sailors, regardless of financial means, have the opportunity to pursue their sailing goals and develop their skills both on and off the water.
Our Board reviews all grant and scholarship applications on a regular basis and considers funding for regattas, clinics, training opportunities, and more. We believe in the power of sailing to build character, resilience, and community, and we are proud to help remove barriers for those eager to advance in the sport.
PYC Grant Program
The PYC Grant Program is designed to support aspiring junior sailors with specific, mission-aligned goals—such as attending regional or national regattas, participating in specialized clinics, or accessing advanced coaching. These grants are awarded based on merit and alignment with the goals of PYC Junior Sailing.
To Apply: Please complete and submit the grant application form below. Applications are reviewed semi-annually by the PYC Junior Sailing Board.

We recognize that talent and passion are not limited by financial resources, and we are proud to help ensure that sailing remains accessible to all who are willing to work hard and grow.
