About Renzo!
PYC Youth Sailing welcomes Renzo Di Clerico to our coaching team for summer 2025! Renzo is an Argentine sailor and coach with over eight years of experience in competitive sailing and instruction. He started sailing at the age of eight on an Optimist at Club de Regatas San Nicolás. He later expanded to Laser, Windsurf, H/19, H/20, and Snipe, developing a strong technical foundation in both dinghy and multihull racing.
For years, he coached at Club de Regatas San Nicolás and later at Club Remeros Alberdi in Rosario, teaching Optimist, Laser, and Windsurf to both children and adults. He has worked with complete beginners as well as competitive sailors preparing for regattas, focusing on boat handling, tactical skills, and building confidence on the water.
This is his first season with PYC Youth Sailing, and he took on the role of our Opti Greenfleet coach. He is looking forward to sharing his passion for the sport and helping every sailor grow — from easygoing sails to the thrill of crossing the start line.
