About Reilly!
PYC Youth Sailing welcomes Reilly Roedel to our coaching team for summer 2025! Reilly is a current sophomore at Hobart/William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY, where she is a crew on the varsity sailing team. She has been sailing since the age of 8, and racing since the age of 11, in Optimists, followed by Lasers and J boats. She is a US Sailing Level 2 Small Boat Instructor, as well as a Red Cross Certified Waterfront Lifeguard. She has three years of coaching experience for both Optimists and Lasers, with intermittent experience coaching c420s and basic team race skills. This year, Reilly is coaching the Opti Beginners, the heart of the Youth Sailing Program, and has loved sharing her knowledge of the sport with some of the youngest sailors at PYC’s Youth Sailing Program.
