About Blake!
PYC Youth Sailing welcomes Blake Anderson to our coaching team for summer 2025! Blake is from the Boston area but has been spending her summers in Cumberland, Maine, since she was a kid. She learned to sail at the Portland Yacht Club summer program, where she gained experience with Prams, Optis, 420s, and larger keel boats. She completed her time as a student in the adventure group of the Portland Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program and has loved getting to see the program from the other side. This summer, Blake is assisting the Pram class and has loved sharing her knowledge of sailing and her love for PJYC and Casco Bay. She can’t wait to continue inspiring and motivating the next generation of PJYC sailors!
